Building Inspections
We provide building inspections from Penrith to the Blue Mountains, the Hawkesbury and Windsor areas.
We’re a family-owned business providing independent advice you can rely on. Our inspector is a licensed NSW builder with over 22 years’ experience in the industry.
Our building inspector visually checks the property in order to provide accurate advice regarding the condition of the property at the time of inspection.
The purpose of the inspection is to identify major defects, the incidence of minor defects and safety hazards associated with the property.
What do our building inspections cover?
The inspection will cover all accessible major structural areas including; foundations, footings, floor structure, internal and external walls, the roof-void and framing timbers, balconies, verandas, retaining walls, plumbing, damp issues, ventilation and drainage.
We visually inspect the property interior such as; ceilings, walls, timber and concrete floors, timber and metal framed windows, doors and frames, kitchens, bathrooms, WC, ensuite, laundry, and stairs.
Our inspector will scrutinise the exterior of the property within 30m of the building subject to inspection including all detached buildings, sheds, carports, detached laundry, retaining walls, paths and footpaths, steps, fencing and general site drainage.
Our building inspection reports are in accordance with the Australian Standards, AS 4349.1-2007, AS 4349.3-2010 and AS 4349.0-2007.
